As a result of generous partnerships and gifts, the TCSG Foundation provides scholarships and awards to students within the Technical College System of Georgia. Scholarship deadlines and requirements are unique to each award and are updated via our website periodically. Scholarships are made available to students based on criteria established by each donor.
Investing in our own family, The TCSG Foundation also provides scholarships and awards to TCSG employees at the system office through The TCSG Employee Scholarship. This scholarship provides for professional development as well as continuing education opportunities.

Phoenix Patriot Foundation's Veteran Scholarship Program
Deadline: June 20, 2018 for Fall 2018 Semester
The mission of Phoenix Patriot Foundation is to provide direct support to injured and combat wounded veterans who served post 9-11 enabling them to fully Recover, Reintegrate, and Remain Engaged in serving America. They aid each Patriot by developing and implementing an individually-tailored program to ensure independence and lifelong sustainability. This, in turn, enables our heroes to return to service within their communities and nation.
They say, “A wise man once stated, ‘If you think education is expensive, try ignorance.’ This program is designed to provide assistance to veterans who are enrolled within the Technical College System of Georgia.
Award: Up to $1,000 annually, in installments of $500 or less dependent on need and award amount. Funds are to be used for tuition and books. Payment will be made directly to the student’s college account. No funds are to be paid directly to the student, nor may a refund be made to the student.
TCSG Employee Scholarship
Deadline: October 31, 2018
The purpose of this scholarship is to provide financial assistance to System Office staff, and their immediate family members as they pursue educational opportunities that enhance their skills and knowledge through credit coursework and/or professional development training. Scholarship funds may be used to cover the cost of tuition/registration, books, or program supplies.
Track 1: Non-Degree Program (Technical Certificate of Credit or Diploma Program)
Award Limit: Full time: $250, Part time: $100
Track 2: Degree Program
Award Limit: Full time: $750, Part time: $500
May be at any level, from Associate to Doctorate, and need not be at a TCSG college
Track 3: Professional Development
(Only available for full time employees)
Award Limit: $250
